Becoming an Endodontist...

An Endodontist is a dentist who specializes in root canal treatment. This procedure is performed to remove diseased tissue from inside the root canals of a tooth. Endodontists limit their practice to performing these specialized endodontic procedures.

Advanced surgical and nonsurgical skills are necessary to certify a dentist for Endodontics. These specialized skills make us uniquely qualified to treat the routine and complex cases each individual patient presents. After completing dental school, we joined a two-to-three-year, advanced focusing specifically on Endodontics. This intensive education prepared us to perform the very best in Endodontic procedures. In addition, we continue to update and manage our training to stay knowledgeable about state-of-the art procedures and technology.
